Here are a few best practices in preparation for the 2021 UNDP Annual Meeting:
-
Have a stable internet connection. Depending on your context, you may consider having a back-up connection such as a mobile hotspot.
-
Restart your computer before joining your scheduled events. Ensure no other video applications are holding onto audio or video, and shut down any non-essential applications for optimal computer performance.
-
Use headphones when participating. This will ensure that you have the clearest audio experience.
Language Interpretation
Language interpretation will be available during the Tri-Partite Partnership Meeting for Spanish and English. We will update this section with more information as it becomes available.
When the meeting or webinar starts, attendees can select an audio channel to hear their language of choice. Attendees will hear the translated audio and can choose if they want to hear the original audio at a lower volume.
Instructions
-
Join the zoom meeting or webinar.
-
Once the host enables interpretation for the meeting, all attendees will be informed in the chat box.
-
Attendees will then be able to click Interpretation in the meeting options and select a language channel.

4. An interpreter in the channel will hear the original meeting audio which they can translate. Participants in a language channel will hear the translated audio and also the original audio at a lower volume.
